Judging Programs for Ladies’

Here they are:

Saturday
Sunday

We apologize for the suck-tastic ring times, but they were much worse before the show chair argued on our behalf. Most of the time, we get our requested late-morning time, but this year, we have a popular judge and requested a popular ring time. We’ll have a blast anyway!

Before we show, we’ll have finger foods and munchies in the party tent. After we show, we’ll bring out the late lunch buffet and hold the raffle. Stick around!

Doggie Items for Sale

Don Marshall is offering these doggie items from Barbara’s equipment collection. He is asking for donations to BCCA Rescue in her name for these items. All items are located in Bedford, MA. Make any arrangements for pickup with Don.

If you’re interested in any of these items, contact Don at dmrelion98@gmail.com.

Whelping Box

Don’s description:

First there is a whelping box. We paid about $200 to $250 for it many years ago. I would suggest a $50.00 donation to Beardie Rescue in Barb’s name.

The yardstick shows the dimensions. It is made of plywood, untreated or painted in any fashion because the puppies might chew on it.

The bottom comes out easily for cleaning.

I added holes for 1″ dowels so the mother could not squeeze a puppy up against the wall. I put metal hose clamps on the outside of the dowels to keep them in place. Dowels and clamps are not included.

The front has a cutout so it is easy for the mother to get in and out when the puppies are small. Then I added a board to close up this cutout when the puppies got large enough to crawl out This board is included. I simply screwed it on (screws included,) but sometimes I used C clamps.

The box has small wooden pads on each corner so it is an inch or so off the floor.

The bottom piece has enough clearance so one can wrap a couple of sheets around it and then drop it in place. This makes it easy to keep clean.

Tracking Equipment

Another item is a set of tracking equipment, 4 flags on posts, a tracking harness, a pamphlet by Virginia Parsons et al, all in a shopping bag from one of the specialties. I will even put the shopping bag thru the washing machine. There are also several of the treats that they use in tracking. Donation amount ????

Additional Items

Finally I have a 10 foot by 10 foot by 6 foot tall galvanized screen outside yard. It has a single full height door. I looked one up on Amazon and they wanted $1200 for it. Selling it for $200. It is sold “as is, where is,” so the buyer needs to do the disassembly.

There is a miscellaneous collection of small items, puppy feeding and water dishes, many Beardie and other dog books, puppy jackets, etc.

Working spots will first be offered to Club members (so get your memberships in!), then to other Beardie People, and then to everyone else.

Interested? We’d really like to know who would come. If you think this sounds good, please fill out our SurveyMonkey survey:
