BCCME is hosting the 2011 BCCA National Specialty! Mark these dates on your calendar: October 1-7, 2011!
The Specialty's website is here. It contains all the information you'll need about the host hotel, other local hotels and campgrounds, the events, directions, fabulous fundraising items, and so on.
Our host hotel is The Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport, ME. The Colony features a private beach and some of the loveliest ocean views in the area -- plus they're renowned for their dog-friendliness.
Anyway, we have a huge amount of work to do before this dream comes to fruition! We need volunteers for a variety of tasks -- some to be done ahead of time, some to be done the week of the show. Most require little or no experience, such as stuffing welcome bags or manning the hospitality table for a couple of hours.
You don't even need to be a Mainiac to help out! Contact Val, the Show Chair, if you'd like to join in the fun.
