Brags and Stuff

If you have Beardie news or a brag you'd like to share, please be sure and let us know! Our Awards Chair will collect all your brags and share them with the Newsletter Editor and the Webmaster -- and will make sure that any titles you earn will be celebrated at our post-holiday party every January!

Traveler (CH Tolkien Haven of Eldar, HIC) just graduated from his first Basic Obedience class at the Saccarappa Obedience Club. Val handled him in the classes, and both of them had such a good time that they're considering going on to rally next!

Trav is owned by proud mom and dad Val and Pat Maloney.

Galen (CH Tamevalley Nor'easter Gale CD RN) was Highest Scoring Bearded Collie in Obedience both days at the YCKC shows, and Highest Scoring Beardie in Rally on Saturday, May 5. Galen lives with Debby Ritchie.

Kathy and Kenny Walsh and Maddie, BOB at Pioneer Valley

Maddie (CH Meadowbrook's The Wonder of Ewe) took Best of Breed at the Pioneer Valley KC show on August 4.

Maddie also went Best of Opposte Sex to Christopher (CH Briarpatch Top That NA NAJ PT) on Sunday, May 6. Maddie lives with Kathy and Kenny Walsh.

Camille (Barnhollow's Worth the Wait) earned four agility legs in the NEAT USDAA agility trials on May 19 and 20. She managed to also get three placements; she placed third in Snooker, third in Gamblers, and 2nd in Jumpers.

She also picked up another Open leg at the agility trials on October 20-21.

Camille and her brother Braeden both earned their PTs at the NESA Trials in CT on September 1 and 2!

Camille owns Maryann Groves. Ask her -- she'll tell you!

Braeden lives with Elsie Gosselin.

Dinah Moe Burfitt (Breaksea November Storm, HIC, CGC) went Winners Bitch at the Garden State Bearded Collie Clan's Regional Specialty in Augusta, NJ on October 14. Unfortunately, the major broke, or she would have had her first one there. She picked up 2 more points.

She passed the Canine Good Citizen test at the Piscataqua Obedience Club's spring match in Wells on June 9.

At the Ox Ridge Kennel Club show in Goshen, CT, she went BOW and picked up 1 more point.

Seamus (Sheiling Angelic Ties HIC RN RL1) qualified in 4 out of 4 attempts, with two 4th-place finishes, at the Monadnock Canine Academy APDT Rally Trials March 29-30. Seamus was ranked #4 Bearded Collie in the US in the 2007 APDT rally standings.

Seamus is owned by Karen Norteman and Greg Hall.
